#1 Support for modifiers

Currently the code has no support for modifiers, it
would be nice to be able to add these automatically.

It's something I'd like to add to the project, but I've been
lacking in free time and motivation to do much coding (on
anything). Patches are always welcome, but I'll attempt to
do this somehow in the hopefully near future.
