    Hey
        O using GeekMenu v. 1.2.5.0, and I would like to remove some options from GeekMenu. Remove:(Documents, Musics, Pictures), and remove the search bar from the button of Menu. How could I do that?

    Thanks
    Regast,
    Bruno Sampayo

    I've successfully re-scripted what the Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos links do by placing this in the .locale file of Geek.Menu:

    LOCATION_DOCUMENTS=$HOSTDRIVE$:\IM4GEz
    LOCATION_MUSIC=$HOSTDRIVE$:\PR0GR4Mz
    LOCATION_PICTURES=$HOSTDRIVE$:\P1X
    LOCATION_VIDEOS=$HOSTDRIVE$:\FL1X

    That means that on the root of my drive (no matter what drive letter my computer assigns it) there are four folders containing Disk Images, Programs, Pictures, and Videos… because I don't store documents or music on my drive.

    BUT! As for removing the search bar that I never ever use… I'm still stumped. I'm doing a lot of skinning and that search bar is RIGHT in the way of making a lot of really cool 3d looking skins. I, and a lot of my other Geek.Menu using friends, would like the option to remove that search bar. If at all possible.

    Thanks to jjblackisback for explaining folder rerouting, Thanks to the scripters of Geek.Menu… it's better then sliced bread.

    I found your idea a good one, so I did a bid of recoding. Here the link to the result: geekmenu.4shared.com

    P.S.: sorry, but I don't know how to make the file smaller. I also had some problems finding all used components.
