Would it be possible to make the menu placement "smart"?  I know that probably 90% of the world runs windows with the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and the system tray on the right of this.  The menu works awesomely with this configuration.

However, with the advent of wide screen monitors, I find myself driven to liking the taskbar be situated vertically on the left of the screen.  This presents a problem for the geek.menu (As well as the PAM):  It opens up in the bottom right corner as if the system tray was there.  This is incorrect.  Instead it should open on the bottom left of my screen where I clicked the icon.

Now with geek.menu, I know that I can drag and position the menu where-ever I want (never tried it with PAM), and it will open there until I shutdown geek.menu.  However, once I start it up again, it reverts back to the bottom right.  An alternative solution would be store the position of geek.menu per machine in a small conf file and have it read upon startup.

I know a number of people that run their taskbars on the right hand side as well as across the top of their screen (as if it were a mac).  I think this enhancement would help everyone.

I'm planning on dealing with smart menu placement and resolution changes in the next experimental track (1.3 if that helps clarify)
