would it be possible, when working with a Truecrypt drive, to also include the apps found on the host drive in the menu, so that you don't need to store two copies of them on the flashdrive?

Yeah... I tried it that way at first - I even went as far as scribbling up a little perl script that built the correctly formatted .ini entries to auto add all 18 of my host drive apps as shortcuts. It worked wonderfully, and I had a complete set of apps listed.....
Until I ran it without the TC volume mounted, at which point, the menu listed all the apps on the host drive, PLUS all the shortcuts, so I had every single one of them twice.
So, I'm afraid that one isn't a usable solution. :(
Hence my request for it to parse both folder trees.

I would love to see this listing of apps for both drives as well. I did not understand from the above, is this not officially possible to have at least an option if not default behavior to ...
A. if truecrypt is bypassed, only parse source drive (default as of 1.2.1.0)
B. if truecrypt is enabled, option to parse both drives or only truecrypt drive (default to truecrypt only)

I hate to be a 'me too' poster, especially since this is my first SF.net posting, but if having more people helps build priority for this feature, then I'm for it! I use my geek.menu drive for the normal Portable Apps stuff (Thunderbird, Firefox, Pidgin, OO, etc), but I also have some apps (both paf.exe and others) that I use for repairing computers (CCleaner, ClamWin, FileAssassin, etc). I'd like to keep the repair apps (no personal information required, etc) on the unencrypted drive to run on broken machines without having to decrypt, and still have the option to run those utils though geek.menu on computers I've mounted my TrueCrypt drive on.
Thanks again for all your hard work on making this a very friendly and useful tool!

thanks for a great menu!

I would appreciate an automatic feature for this case too!
Never the less, you can add these shortcuts manually at the moment.

I've classified the duplicate shortcuts as a bug, which I'll correct in a day or so.
Excellent, thanks :D

No need for any more me-toos, this will be added to the next experimental track.
Completed as of 1.3.0.0 experimental release
Testing 1.3 now - and so far, it seems perfect!
Thanks again! :D
