    I really like geek.menu and prefer it to PortableApps's equivalent (if only for the ability to have custom shortcuts!), but ever since I've started using it, I've noticed that it rarely displays the menu without at least 1 menu item missing it's "name".

    If I force it to refresh the menu icons this sometimes fixes it, but it's a shame it happens at all.  Also, for some reason I have a lone "geek.menu" icon with no name attached to it that appears in a random order in the menu??

    I'm using Vista and I've noticed this occurs on my XP machine too.

    Cheers!

      Hey, just got the same bug ... Which icon is allways shown shown on your geek.menu ???

      On mine it's SumatraPDF Portable

      Maybe it's just a bug with this name??

    At first, my menu was perfect, nut when it started opening as F:\ instead of E:\, my porsonal picture, app names, and icons all stopped showing up. they're all still there, and nothing's changed. What's going on?

    @davemon1:
    If you are running GM from a "moveable/removeable" drive, such as a flash drive (as most of us are), and you have recently added another drive (USB, CD, SUBST/NET mapping, etc), then this might "push" your GM drive letter up a position or two.

    Quick fix is to make sure your GM drive loads in the proper order (i.e. to "E:").

    Better fix is to use variables, not hard-coded references to your stuff, so that it does not matter what your GM drive's letter is.

    Hope that helps!

    Salutations,
