    Hello,

Is it possible to simply mount a TrueCrypt volume as part of the geek.menu startup, but not have it be the location for my apps?

      Hi,

I always do that, currently with the 1.3.2.0_Experimental.
I initially installed all Apps and created the TrueCrypt volume later.
I only use the TrueCrypt volume for my data. The apps are open source, so what's the use encrypting them.

There are only two things to keep in mind:

The first one is what you enter in the TrueCrypt tab of the advanced options.
Check the box for 'Use truecrypt volume for apps', AND ALSO check the box for 'Include Apps from host drive in menu'.
This last option ensures that all apps from the host drive actually show-up in the menu.

The second thing is to look closely where you install any additional apps.
You can install them on the host drove or on the TrueCrypt Volume.
If you install them on the host drive, they will always show in the menu.
If you install them on the TrueCrypt volume, they will only show when the TrueCrypt volume is mounted.

      Hope this helps.

      Bert
