The appropriate place for this is probably not this forum, but the Google Portable Chrome forum. Unless clicking directly on the .exe from an explorer window somehow actually does work, but starting from geek.menu does not- if that's the case (relatively improbable) let me know.

Chris is right, it's a Chrome problem, because the .exe runs … sort of… what worked for me (this was a problem with the original Chrome too) was to create a shortcut which runs it with the "-no-sandbox" parameter. Geek problem: can't get the shortcut to run inside of Geek.Menu! Tried "add shortcut", that doesn't work; plus, it leaves the old entries in place, even after a refresh.

The problem was that my geek.menu folder was in Program Files. I moved it to another folder and Chrome worked fine.
