The Gedcom.UI.SWF project seems to be pretty rudimentary compared to the screenshots you're showing. I suppose you've been strictly focusing on the Mono version?

The swf code is an hours hack, nothing more.
The main interface work is on the gtk# frontend,
which is primarly for Linux but will work under
Windows if the correct version of gtk# is installed.
My hope is someone else will write a swf or wpf
frontend.

gtk# 2.12 installers are available here http://ftp.novell.com/pub/mono/gtk-sharp/ for anyone that want's to run the GTK client under windows.
