Ok, it's been 6 years since the initial release, and I did have a ton of updates ready to send up to the CVS back in 2003/2004. I've learned a lot since then. Unfortunatly, the v.3 sources seem lost at this time. There is one place the newer sources might be, but I can't get to it at this time. I have moved all the v.1 sources into svn and have updated adodb in the trunk.

At this time, it is not recommended you try and use the trunk because the newer version of adodb may have broken it and I need to test things out. ... read more

Ok, I'm going to start commiting changes to CVS soon for the next packaged release. Since there has only been myself working on this, I've seen no reason to make commits with every change. I really need some testers to give me some feedback and let me know how they like things. Among the many changes I'm making will be:

1. A login script.
2. A unified admin control panel.
3. OO style programming.
4. More documentation.... read more

I've been appointed to take on a very high priority project at work and haven't had much time for development directly linked with GeBlog. What they don't know is that this project actually uses a modified version of the template system. ;-) Don't worry, the modifications will be released. Unlike most programmers working for large companies, I'm not a "hired" programmer, I'm a computer operator. I don't have any contract saying what I develope is theirs. :-D Anyway, things are still moving, just at a snails pace.

Hi all! Well, I've decided I'd make better headway if I actually learned classes and more of an object oriented approach to PHP. I have built some code for the new admin module that is object oriented. As a matter of fact, it's pretty well all object oriented. I'll be converting current modules and universal functions to classes and further development will be class based. It should be all be converted by the v.2alpha release. Ok, I've been working on the admin section for a bit, and it's pretty tedious stuff. Also, I've decided that the guestbook will not be included in the next alpha release. Instead, it will be a seperate package and will be available as an external plug-in module. After the next release, I will continue to work on cleanupm, bug fixes and new features to the existing code. I will also start work on some modules that will come stock with GeBlog. Ok, I've uploaded both a .zip and a .tar.gz file. Both have the current CVS tree. I will be making changes to v.1 on my weekend (Monday and Tuesday) *hopefully*. There is one thing that bugs me and I need to fix it, is the next/previous function in the guestbook. I don't think it'll work at this point, so I'm going to to revamp that too. There are some little things that need to be addressed, and I will address these as fast as I can.... read more

Ok, I've imported the alpha version to CVS. I will be making changes every so often. I will probably not make a package available until v.2, when the basic admin module is working and there is some form of user authentication.

I'm making the final changes to all the files so that I can upload atleast a working copy to CVS. Also, I'm not so good at documentation, so please don't expect anything wonderful from it yet.

I'm looking for others that have a working knowledge of PHP 4.2+, MySQL and/or ADODB experience. Also, I need documentors and testers.
