the CMakeLists.txt files that generate .pc files are all putting their required libraries in the "ext_deps" section of the GBX_ADD_PKGCONFIG, instead of the "int_deps" section. This is causing the .pc files to list the library dependancies in the "Requires" section instead of on the "Libs" line. It still worked for the most part, but a few of the utility libraries don't generate their own .pc files, which causes "module not found" errors when pkg-config looks for modules in the Requires section. The attached patch fixes this issue
