Any plans to make the application browser friendly..

meaning can the app be displayed in the browser... in effect turning geany into a browser based ide..

It will be really wonderful if someone can do it.. as geany has a very good backend and a front end at browser would be terrific..

An example of it would be the RStudio Server http://www.rstudio.com/ide/server/

It has a very clean and a fast interface, and the whole source code is also available...

Kindly ninepin..

You could theoretically use Geany in a browser using the Broadway backend for GTK+.

Probably best to seek support through GTK+ channels, I just mentioned it since it sounds like basically what you ask and I saw some demos.

For Broadway to work you seem to need to run boardwayd before the applications.

Geany is a desktop application and we don't plan to make it a web application.
