There is already great highlighting support for D (Digital Mars D).

But I still want to request improved language support by allowing to define include directories and thereby providing autocompletion for class symbols and more.

If fear that this feature could slow down Geany significantly but as we all know it would be very practical.

Also fixing the symbol semantics in the Symbols panel would be nice but not as important (e.g. imports are listed as Variables).

ps: Thanks for this great IDE, I already use and love it!

    Hi,
Instead of an include directories feature, you can use global tag files. Please see the manual. These aren't as flexible but they are already implemented, and they are probably best for library tags. There is work planned for parsing tags for files not already open, however.

I'll have a look at the import bug. Also of interest is that an annoying class name tag parsing bug when inheriting was fixed in the SVN version, and the fix will be in the 0.13 release.

(The previous comment was by me, not logged in BTW).

D import statements are now ignored.

I've renamed this request because your include directories for parsing tags suggestion is a feature that could work for all filetypes. If you want to add any more D specific things, feel free to add comments or open another request.
