No

If the crashes are not a "Quit", it is not saved list of opened files and their position in the cursor. Opened only list that is stored through the correct exit.

If I understand correctly: "When W11/Windows or Geany crashes, the currently open file list remains unsaved". Yes, Geany does not periodically save it, like a few other programs, and there are no plans to do so. It's _the crash_ that should be fixed in the first place.

This have saved the configuration and opened documents everytimes when I have pressed Control+S.

Of course stuff shouldn't crash..but it does, so that's why this feature will be a big time saver when using on a not so stable system.

Sorry, Klapin, but how often to shutdown/reboot your computer, you close all programs? It does not crash. This is a normal situation

When you turn off your computer, you are always close all programs separately before that? And when you have finished the battery on the laptop, the laptop shuts down always correctly? Then you are a happy person and can close this bug. More poor people will have to continue to patch and compile Geany from source code to fix it a little misunderstanding.

This is known behavior, it is unlikely to be fixed.

Of course if someone has a way to handle this that is acceptable (none have been so far), patches are welcome.
