When an error is displayed in the Compiler output, in previous versions, if the file is already opened, selecting the error would bring the file tab with the file into "focus" and place an arrow on the line in which the error occurred.

With version 0.20, the window does not change. User must manually select the file and then highlight an error to see the line in question.

The focus changes only into the editor window is you press Enter or Return on the selected error message in the Compiler Output window.

However, Geany (tries to) re-opens the file if it is not open once you click an error message.

Could you give a few more details like which filetype you are using and a copy of the compiler output?

You mean that the file with the error isn't displayed? If yes, it works for me.

Or as eht16 says, that the file doesn't get keyboard focus? If that's it, it's expected behavior, focus moves to the file only on double click/return/enter, not single click.

Please give more information on how to reproduce the bug if it still applies, thanks.
