When I do this from command line:

geany /home/webs/mywebsite/*

...there are more than 25 pages (plus subdirectories)
and it spits out "Segmentation Fault" at command line
and quits. I used -d and found that it bombed after the
25th page.

However, if I load the GUI first and then choose Open
and shift-click a bunch of files, it loads as many as
it can and then says, "Cannot open more than 25 tabs"
(or something like that).

Again, this is one more reason why I think the app
needs to be remodeled such that the left pane shows a
folder of documents and you have to click on a doc in
order for the tab to open.

But don't be discouraged -- you're doing great work. If
I actually knew a thing or two about C++ and weren't so
discouraged by my ignorance of the language, I'd jump
in an help you get this done. (My skills are in PyGTK
and PHP.)

I'm rooting for you!

    Hey,

I will fix the described error while loading files from the
command line. And probably I will emove the limit of 25
    opened files.
But I don't want a folder pane in the left sidebar. Sorry.

Btw: You don't need to learn C++, Geany is completely
    written in C ;-).

    Enrico
