The Windows version of Geany does not accept spaces in the argument paths even if the string is quoted. I have an application located in C:\Program Files\Application Folder. The only way I can get access to it in Geany is by adding that folder to %PATH%, making a batch file and sticking it in a %PATH% folder or using the 8 letter short codes e.g. C:\Progra~1\Applic~1\. I am not fond of any of these, and ideally, I would be able to just stick quotes around the parts that need spaces like you can with the command line and Windows shortcuts / *.lnk files.

Which tool paths exactly don't work for "C:\Some Path\Some File.exe"? (I don't have a Windows system to test on ATM).

None of them from what I remember. I didn't go through and systemically check them all individually, but I know for sure Under Preference --> Tools, _none_ of those will accept spaces, and I remember it being the same for the build tools as well.

Closing as "Works for Me" since I just tested with browser (with firefox in C:\Program Files) and it works. I kind of remember something being fixed no too long ago that is related to this, but I'm not positive.
