First of all thanks for that beautiful editor. Windows shows that the digital signature of the geany.exe is not verifiable, is there something wrong?

You probably don't have the class1 root certificate for CACert installed. If you install it, Windows should be able to verify the signature. I just tested it by downloading the installer from the website, install Geany from it and then let Windows verify the signature. It worked.

You can get the certificate from http://www.cacert.org/index.php?id=3 .
