#325 Terminal does not respect login shell

Terminal always seems to be using bash, although I changed my user's shell (with chsh in this case).

    Geany has its own pref for this. Edit->Preferences, Terminal tab, Shell pref.

    Thank you! That solves my problem, though defaulting to login shell would be a nice feature (not that I will spend any time writing it).

    We do use the user's login shell as the default command when Geany is started for the first time. But we don't change the setting afterwards after having a config file. This would mean to monitor /etc/passwd for changes and I really don't see a need for it. I guess changing the login shell isn't anything happening often at all :).

    So I closed this, feel free to re-open if you disagree.
