Geany 1.24, English_Australia.1252
GTK 2.16.6, GLib 2.20.5
Windows 8.1 Pro (Fresh Install, Geany was one of the first programs I installed).
No Plugins.

When the program gets 25 (or more) tabs open at once, it crashes, showing a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error (Image attached).

I have uninstalled and removed Geany, then installed again to make sure it wasn't a one time problem.

Please try disabling all plugins and then trying to reproduce the problem again. If the problem is gone, try to track down which plugin causes the problem.

As I said in the description of the post, there are no plugins. (There are the plugins that were shipped with Geany, but none of them have ever been turned on)

I made it generate new settings and all that via removing the geany folder from appdata, then it worked fine.

I now have been though my settings and found the cause, Interface -> Notebook tabs -> Tab positions -> Editor (ie tab_pos_editor).

If that is set to Left or Right, and there are more than 24 tabs open, Geany will crash.
