I'm running Geany 0.19.1 with geanylatex installed. I see in the Geany changelog that LaTeX autocomplete was moved from the core to the plugin, and I've noticed that autocompletion no longer works for me. I've tried manually loading the tags file, didn't work. No error messages are given at startup.
OS: Debian.

Have you enabled the latex plugin? It's distributed with geany-plugins (I think).

I think these are two issues.
1.) The auto completion of closing environments have been move to GeanyLaTeX plugin and is included into 0.5 release (geany-plugins 0.19) - Should work :)

2.) Auto completion for tags is depending on tag file. Did you try to rename the tagfile with using tex instead of latex? This is working in some cases.

    Thanks for the responses.

@ntrel: Sorry, yes, forgot to mention that I had enabled the plugin.

@frlan: Renaming the tagfile seems to have worked, thanks. I'll use it for a bit just to make sure, then close this bug.

Ah, just figured out what's going on here. Forgot that tag completion is a Geany thing (and i had to download the tag file), the plugin completion is just closing environments etc. Sorry about that.
Any idea why the tagfile needs to be named with tex rather than latex?

Tag files can use any recognized extension for that filetype before the .tags suffix. *.latex is not listed as a LaTeX filetype extension pattern by default, but *.tex is.
