    Hello,

    Please suggest how to get the layer of a polygon that I got as:
    dict = gdspy.GdsImport().cell_dict
    list_of_poly = dict['cell_name'].get_polygons()
    I know that I can get layers using .get_layers() methood. However, how can I get the layer for a particular polygon as it does not have any layer attrubute?

    Thanks, Ian

    You can view a Polygon's layer using the attribute "layer":
    p = gdspy.Polygon(...)
    print(p.layer)

    If instead you have a PolygonSet, use the "layers" attribute (a list of layers for each polygon in the set).
