    Hi !
My name is Iulian and i came across your software on sourceforge.net. I
find it really interesting to view the insides of a chip. May I kindly ask
you if is also possible to do cross sections ?

    Thank you and kind regards,
    iulian

      Hi Iulian,

Great to hear you like it! The software cannot do cross sections, maybe a good idea for future implementation.

      Cheers,
      Michiel

    Hi iulian,

When considering the cross section feature it would be useful to apply the thickness of each layer to get a true 3D representation. Having the thickness applied would also give the existing views a more representative view of the silicon build structure, i.e. the thickness would not be just restricted to the cross section view suggested. The thicknesses of each layer could be stored and read from a user config file for the technology process loaded and the user should be given the choice of toggling with and without the thicknesses applied to the current view.

    Regards, Mark

    Hi Michiel,
i wanted to kindly ask you if you had any thoughts into the cross section feature to be implemented? Is this still on the radar for future improvement ?
    Thanks,
    iulian
