At least with Ximian's preview build of control-center
1.5 (from Red Carpet), capplet.desktop files need to go
under /usr/share/control-center/capplets/ to show up. A
copy of gdkxft.desktop should be placed there (for
example,
/usr/share/control-center/capplets/Advanced/gdkxft.desktop)
by the gdkxft-capplet RPM.
