gdcsim-0.0.1 is now finally released, after a long wait for the go-ahead from my employer.

Currently gdcsim can hardly do anything at all; it's really in a kind of proof of concept stage. It seems I may have reinvented parts of the wheel, but did that ever stop anyone?

I am currently working on a simple input file parser for gdcsim. Without that, it will be impractical to push gdcsim any further. Ultimately I would like to see an XML-based file format, but I don't grok libxml at all, so I just sommer did it with a flex/bison parser. I would very much like to hear from people familiar with creating XML-based parsers.... read more
