GDS Development people has noticed that, while still usable at the moment, they do not plan to further develop Desktop search queries using HTTP and XML, and may eventually deprecate it.
Since GDSAPI uses Desktop search queries using HTTP and XML, it means that it is necessary to develop GDAPI core again (using native plug-ins type)
Until that, it is very important to know that GDAPI 0.9.6 will not runs well in further versions of Google Desktop.... read more
New version 0.9.6 is now compatible with Google Desktop (GD) 2 and GD 3.
This isn't a finally solution in java for GD, cause Google announced that XML access to GD is deprecated (since version 3).
So I will make a new package called GDAPI2, that uses the native access to GD.
