#8 beatcalc seq faults when updating databa

500 mhz k6II
196 MB
Redhat 7.1 with ximian gnome 1.4

gdam .936 from the rpms

when running as root [doesnt happen with other users],
updating the database from the beatcalculator causes a
core dump.

changing the server.config [saved in ~/.gdam/ ] to this

did not help, unless I did it wrong...
