I implemented a similar idea. When you looked straight at the sun I lowered the gamma which made everything darker but kept the sun still stayed quite bright. The effect was great! I actually squinted my eyes when looking at the sun =). It worked for most cards I tried this on (using the win32 SetGammaRamp function). |
