Wouldn't it be a Rectangle Swept Sphere, a.k.a. RSS ?
A lozenge looks like a 2D thing to me (I mean, "un losange" in French
couldn't possibly be a bounding volume. Hence my confusion.)

But now I understand, since RSS are good candidates indeed.
