Sadly, Mr. Nagle wins either way with this patent controversy.  He either
erects a roadblock to physics simulation in every major arena in which it
is exploited or he gets a ton of free publicity for himself and animats.com
which leads to job offers and sales of his products.  he may get both.  Either
way, he won the moment the patent was accepted.
