It is always better to express your frustration, instead of building it all
up inside ;-).

I consider it a sign of weakness if people require patents and lawyers just
to keep up with competitors, in a field where so many people share knowledge
and technology freely, like we do here every day. The paradox being that
patents tend to stall the very process of innovation they were supposed to
protect.
