Apparently I should not use the phrase "begging the question" since many people now consider it to be something other than it's intended construction, sorry. I use the phrase "begging the question" to mean that the subject matter of a solution includes a topic that raises another question...the solution is said to "beg the question". Rons answer brought up the question in my mind that he might be asking about shear forces.
