Perhaps you could draw the table and pub (or whatever it is you're spending the rest of your 3 gajillion polygon budget on) first, then draw each ball as a triangle fan with GL_POLYGON_SMOOTH to AA the edges of the ball? However, I really don't understand how you can do a pool game without using real mesh spheres for each ball, since the numbers and stripes need to spin around as the ball rolls. Sixteen balls times 5,000 polys per ball, sounds about like Quake 3 Arena minus the death animations. Word, Garett Bass gt...@st... |
