Downloaded and tried running the galaxy demo. First couldn't get it to run,
so first tip is make sure your desktop is set to 32bit, D3D cops out if its
set to 16bit. Got it to run, well sort of. The window comes up and the top
and bottom bands (where the logo is supposed to be I think) flash with
colour while the centre band is black. Any ideas?

DXDiag seems to think everything is fine, so it probably means I'm doing
