#1 Failed to load module "libcanberra-gtk-module.so"

gcx 1.1 compiled on freshly installed Kubuntu 9.04

Starting gcx gives the following warning:

Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to load module "libcanberra-gtk-module.so": libcanberra-gtk-module.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

After some searching it seems that this message is due to problems in gtk, not in gcx. According to the hints I created a symlink in /usr/lib. Starting gcx leads to a seg fault instantaniously.

Conclusion: You better accept the warning.
