#1 Rqst for basic readme file/manual

Having some very limited but helpful exposure to GCC on ubuntu I found some very helpful readme files/community forums that allowed me to figure out how to navigate to the command module and compile basic .c and .C files using gcc, yet with no previous experience.

Since GCW on windows doesn't seem to operate quite the same as GCC on ubuntu, is there any rudimentary documentation that can be posted to help me (and others like me) get up and running with gcw?
