Project home for ** GarminPictureCopy **

** GarminPictureCopy ** is a small command-line utility to copy Geocache photos to a Garmin device. Garmin introduced photos for Geocaches on some of their devices (Oregon, Dakota) in February 2012. Before that you had to put the photos in POI files to have them on the device.
But the Garmin software needs a specific folder structure to access the photos (the photos need to be placed in ** \Garmin\GeocachePhotos\X\Y\Z\ where X is the last letter of the cache code, Y is the second-but-last letter of the code, and Z is the complete cache code. For example, for a cache with code GCAB123, the folder needs to be \Garmin\GeocachePhotos\3\2\GCAB123\**. I use PQConverter and GeoPics for manipulating my GC pocket queries and for loading the photos, but I needed a tool to create the folder structure on the device and to copy the photos. That's why I wrote GarminPictureCopy.
