#8 Make XHTML Compliant

The web moves on and on. I know it's a big task, cuz it
would require editing of pretty much every file in the
project, but it is an important one in my eyes.

Also, being an OpenSource project, I think it should
use OpenSource image formats. Changing all the used
images to PNG format is highly advised. All current
browsers support it.

    Thank you for your message.
    I think that the project have to be XHTML Compliant,
    and if you can help us (by sending a patches of any
    files (it's easy!))

    About PNG. When I add other pictures I'll do them in
    PNG format, and later rewrite all to use only PNG.

    We just burned all the GIFs in the core version of gcdb as
    well as implemented a new icon management system. XHTML?
    Could tinker with it as soon as we have something operating
    again.
