Q0. Is gcdb compatible with FreeRadius ?
If not, with which Radius server is it compatible ?
Q1. We need FreeRadius server to communicate with multiple NAS servers, each having multiple pools of IPs.
Can gcdb manage FreeRadius to ensure that clients connecting to a certain service be assigned an IP address from a certain pool of IPs according to the service type ?
STEP1: Imagine you have multiple NAS servers. On each NAS server, you configure multiple pools of IPs (each defined by a range you specify). Is this configuration manageable by gcdb ?
STEP2: A client connects as 128 Kbps DSL connection, so he's given an IP address from Pool1 on a given NAS server.
If he reconnects later as 128 Kbps Dial Up connection, he'll be given another IP address from Pool5 on the same NAS server.
Can this be managed by gcdb ?
Q2. Does gcdb have ready templates for selling Dial Up / DSL / etc. connections ? If not, is it an easy process ?
Can we have a Demo version of this software ?
Q3. Another requirement for customers having multiple services:
Suppose a customer, tracy@128.zajoulnet.com, has multiple services;
The first service has a duration of 3 months,
the second has a duration of 3 months,
and a 9 days duration for the third service.
When the first service expires, gcdb should switch automatically to the second service \(and so on, till all services expire\), without requiring any interference... Is this feature supported by gcdb ?
Q4. Freezing Accounts:
We need to be able to FREEZE accounts for a specific duration, so when a customer is going on a vacation he can request his account to be freezed for a certain duration.
As a result, he won't be charged for the duration he requested.
Q5. Is gcdb capable of assigning static IPs for users ?
Q6. We need to set the Expiry Date of services on first login. Is this possible with gcdb ?
Q7. Can gcdb run or cope with multiple running instances of FreeRadius ?
Q8. Can gcdb manage the 'IP rotation' process of the FreeRadius server ?
