I have finally got gcb installed on linux mint. Here is the file.
Can it be installed and work on other mint without the freebasic build then compile
ie as a stand alone gcb for mint 19.2?
How would I post my gcb install ? ie it's a file of files,
It was not fun to install and I want to save another user the hassle.
The attatchment is my gcb mint folder. Would it work as a precompiled version?
I only post ed this because linux install gcb is NOT as easy as the windows install...You don't have to do much in windows...brill!
Alas linux users need to experts with their OS.
It was mentioned that gcb can not cover every linux distro and that maybe specific linux cgb could be a valid idea,
so would my installed files be of any use to anyone else who does not want to install freebasic and build it then use it to compile gcb
I know little about linux but thought mint was compatable with ubuntu.
Is my idea stupid?
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
