Chevrolet Aveo T300 / Sonic heater blend door actuator passager side.

Voltage is applied to the actuator from the moment of bringing ignition key in ON position. Actuator has only 2 wires. No feadback. This forces the actuator until the plastic components fails. Bad design.

To overcome this deficiency I have designed a circuit with the PIC12F675. Circuit detects actuator overload and disconnects. When it receives a command to rotate in reverse the proces repets. Code is written in Great Cow BASIC.

    Nice project. Thanks for uploading.

You should post to Indestructibles also as this looks like a good approach to a common motor driving problem.

    :-)

errata: If you use chip IXDD604PI JUPER JP4 should not be closed. Should not be linking pin PIC12F675 GP0 to ENB / A -ENB / B.

    IXDD604PI needs to ENB / A - ENB / B voltage greater than 7 volts. VDD will connect to the ENB / A - ENB / B chip IXDD604PI.
The actuator is switched off by applying both wires to GND, driving GP1 & GP4 to LOW

If you use MPC14E3 no need for this correction.
