When you have a big glcd screen sitting on top of an Arduino board, you can no longer program with the ARVISP MKII without getting the programming header out to the side somehow. Of course, one could use the USB plug to download using various methods, but if you are stubborn like me, you hang on to what you know.

The problem; where did the 6 pin ISP header go?:

Splitting a 6 pin IC socket, the kind with the flat easily bendable pins, each half can be placed (flat side in) on the 6 pin programming header. Using Kynar 30 gauge teflon wire makes thing easy to manage. Some cat5 cable wiring could work here too? A little kapton tape to keep things from melting, with a piece on top for safety, and some shrink wrap cable management to finish things up. For all I know, someone probably has already has a ready made adapter?
