Not sure if this is the correct forum section, but where would I find the latest chip files? I'd like to use the PIC16F1705, but I do not see that chip file in the GCB chip folder. I have the latest release of GCB installed.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I do not track the independencies of the .dat file relative to the releases, and, I am not sure what version you have but it has to old then 24 months, it could be the April 2014 release.
My advice Download the whole package and use the whole package. Issues will occur if you pick and choose pieces of a specific build. Of course, backup etc prior installing, etc etc.

It is available in the latest release. Your sure you have the latest build?
What is the release date of the compiler? This has been included since the April 15 releases.
Are you using #chip 16F1705 as the chip selection?
I just tested the 0.94 2015-04-02 build with the following and it compiled as expected.
Mayb I do NOT have the latest build.... I'll double-check.
Is there a way to just download updated chip files when there isn't a full update on the software?

Ok, did a full re-install, and now i see the 1705 data file. I do NOT see one for the 16F1776, however. Guess that may come later....
