I have a Pickit 2 but I assume that I cannot use it to program the PIC16F19176, even though there is a data file in GCBASIC. Which programmer works with this chip?

Clint

Your Pickit2 is capable of programming the PIC16F19176. We have completed a project, not part of Great Cow BASIC, see gcbasic.sourceforge.net/Typesetter/index.php/pickitPlus

I sent you an email but I didn't see the PIC16F19176 listed in the file of supported chips. I wanted to use that 40 pin chip because I need that number of pins, memory and RTCC that it offered.

Added just now in the 2.63.177 parts database. I had added the 16f19156 but not any other part from that family of parts. My error. Added in the new release.
