I chased my tail on this for quite a while. My old eyes don't work as well as they did when I was 20, and I got tired of squinting at the 10 point default font so I decided to increase it to 12 points.
Easier said than done.
Clicking on Options> Customize > Fonts brings up a Fonts pane. Here you can click on "text" and change the font. But this WILL NOT change the editor font when you open a .GCB program or a .h file It WILL change the font of .txt, .ini, .dat and .ASM files and probably some others.
To Change the font of .gcb and .h and .bas files you must open a .gbc file then click Options > Customize Lexer Styles. Then in the left pane click > "default". Then on the right under "Window Text" click on Set Custom Font. This will then set the font for .gcb, .bas and .h files.
To change the font of .bat file click Options > Customize Lexers Library. Double click on "Batch Files", then click the "styles" tab and on the right click "Set Custom Font".
The above step WILL NOT WORK on the Assembler Lexer Library. Any changes made there to the font will not change the font. The assembler font always follows the text font.
Good Luck
William

I have the same eyes!!! Wonderful posting!!
Never noticed that. I can make a SynWrite-config with no lexer-specific fonts. The user can simply change all fonts per "Options" menu.
Maybe an idea for next hot release, what do you think?

Yes please! If you can do this - please send to me. I have most of the release ready.
