Mplab Xpress Evaluation Board, any signs?

Howdy all!,

Anyone seen any progress on ordering the Mpabx Xpress Evaluation board?I don't see any indication of it being available on MicroChip direct. I guess early April time frame has come and gone.

Nothing I have seen. I have will ask MicroChip marketting tomorrow. I will see if they know the answer.

We still have to release a version of GCB Compiler for the board that supports all the features. So, please be aware of this.

Thank you for the kind consideration of your response. I did do a little sleuthing around and determined that this was the relevant Microchip Direct part no.:

DM164140. and Mouser shows delivery sometime in September!

Actually I have found Mouser very reliable regarding refill times, so maybe that is the hard fact of the matter.

The boards should be available very soon.

Whilst marketting could not give me a specific date but I did learn that they should be available from Mouser first – as early as next week.

@Chris. You will require a new build of GCB. Your existing build will not work.

Builds after May 2016 support the 16f18855 range.
