    Hello again (unfortunately ! ) ...

I know, this issue won't happen to many users, but unfortunately it exists ...

My computer runs Windows 7 64 bits Pro (!), and I have 2 printers attached via USB(2) : the default printer is an OKI ML1190eco, 24 pins (!) , with 12' fanfold paper (for quick printing of Internet text pages among others), and the "secundary" printer is a colour laser (!) Canon LBP7018C with A4 paper (I know, this configuration is rather ... strange ! )

Now, if I print my code to the secundary printer directly via the "print" function and select the printer here, the output is unreadable, the lines are "squeezed" on top of the page (see copy of the first page as attachment, they are all similar) ; I must select at least once the secundary printer via the "Printer setup" menue to get a correct output ... If one knows it everything is well, but if one forgets it then it is a waste of paper (and in my case of colour toner ! )

    Very strange ...

Printer Support... this is a first. :-)

As a bit of font and display expert (I am). This is highly likely to be an error in the IDE. Try this as a test. Set your default printer to a PDF printer driver , then, print the PDF output to your printer. Does this work? There is a rational to see if the PDF printer driver resolved the issue. Let us know the result.

I tried to set my PDF Creator as the default printer in Windows. Now, if I print to the Canon without doing first "Printer setup" , the lines are printed with ... double spacing, the PDf Creator itself works fine. And if I set back my Oki as default and print "directly" to PDF, the lines are again squeezed on top (like with the Canon) ; if I select the Canon in "Printer setup" and then print in PDF, the lines are squeezed, but less.

It seems that, when I don't select "Printer setup" correctly first, the "interline" space stays defined by the printer selected via "Printer setup" and is not modified when another printer is selected in the "Print" window.
