shame really because iam being to like gcbasic, gcbide rather that proton lite
i just cant convert to hex even tried mplab but that didnt like my code
oh well

i think i will give this ago ive tried Bascom but find it hard to get avr's
tried proton lite but limited to 50 lines of code
But this is cool and free and theres not much free good software around

I have been trying to get GCBIDE to create a hex file. It would create the .asm file but no Hex.
I finally re-applied the update.zip file to the GCBasic folder and it started working.
The update.zip write into the chipdata file, so you have to apply the update.zip file to the main GCBasic folder.
Maybe this will help another absolute begnner like myself.
Now, on with the learning curve!
