I'm working with a new pic, the 16F676, and using the PICkit 2 programmer. With the programmer attached, when PICkit loads, it reports an "Invalid Value 3FFF for OSCCAL. Then I get that message when I load and "write" a program. Kind of strange because I've successfully written several nifty 16F877 pograms (thanks to your help too).
Can you offer any suggestions? Thanks!

Sorry for the OSCCAL post. I inquired more on this forum and found that PICkit 2 will reset the OSCCAL. I believe that it worked. Thanks for being here anyway :)
