I had a problem today after updating my GCB environment. When I tried to compile a program by clicking the 'Hex' button on the SynWrite toolbar, I got an error message saying 'Cannot run G@Stools\G@Stools.exe' (or something similar).
It took me a while and a couple of re-installs before I found an answer to this. The paths to G@Stools.exe were only showing a partial path.
I went to: Tools > Customise External Tools... > Make Hex and Flash
then selected the 'Browse' button for 'Filename' , located the G@Stools.exe file on my hard disk and then did the same for 'Make Hex', 'Make Asm', and so on.
This fixed the errors.
I thought I'd post this in case anyone else had a similar problem, or in case I had a similar problem next time I update.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I tried the latest version as one of my re-installs. 0.95.006 was the one I aimed for... It is possible that a previous install had already corrupted the paths.
I'd had trouble with the colour scheme for the lexer not transferring over from the previous version and so it might well have been self inflicted.
I must remember, Options > Advanced > Restore Lexer Styles.

Thank you. What version? This has been fixed on 0.95.004 or greater.. I think.
