Exciting to get the new GCB 97. Also iwas just stepping out from the security of 16F886 family to the 16F1705 for a smaller footprint. Downloaded GCB full this morning.

Clicked on PPS button and the tool opened fine.
    Selected my new chip 16F1705
    Found my schematic
On PPS outputs I clicked on TX and the RA4 pin and ADD, the code popped up in the right window.

On PPS inputs i clicked on RC5 and RX and ADD i get error box "unhandled exception..."

I tried various chips, various assignment but PPS inputs are always failing with "unhandled exception..."

    Sorry to report this.

      Same as me!!

Its a 'feature' the drop down should be locked before you choice the capability... it is not at the moment.

Are you saying that it works with the right sequence?

    What is that sequence?

No. I think the array handler is not working as expected.
We did expect issues - we could not come up every use case.

      :-(

I'll look into this one and try and get it fixed.

    mmotte - try this https://sourceforge.net/projects/pps-tool/files/PPS%20Tool%20v0.0.5.4.zip/download

I got the same error on my machine, but when I rebuilt the .exe it worked fine. Not sure what caused the problem.

I downloaded the latest updated version 97 and now the pps tool does work out of the package.

    Thanks for all the efforts.
